Submission Requirements
Manuscripts must be submitted through the journal's designated online submission system.
The submitting author must ensure that all listed authors have approved the manuscript and its submission.
Manuscripts must be original and must not be simultaneously submitted to another journal.
Authors may suggest 3–5 independent potential reviewers with appropriate expertise. Suggested reviewers must not have a significant conflict of interest with the authors or the submitted work. The Editor is not obligated to use suggested reviewers.
Formatting After Acceptance
Following acceptance, authors are required to provide an editable Microsoft Word or LaTeX source file suitable for publication production. The accepted manuscript should be clearly organized and appropriately formatted, including the text, tables, figures, references, author information, and required publication statements.
Authors are not required to reproduce the journal's final typesetting or page layout. The journal will apply the final publication layout during production.
Authors who are able to prepare the accepted manuscript themselves may submit the required editable Word or LaTeX files at no additional charge.
Authors who require professional assistance with formatting, technical preparation, LaTeX typesetting, or preparation of publication-ready files may request the journal's optional Publication Production and Technical Service. A charge of USD 50 per manuscript applies for this optional service, in addition to the applicable Article Processing Charge (APC).
Use of the optional production service is not a condition of acceptance or publication and does not influence editorial decisions.
Research Methods and Reproducibility
Authors should provide sufficient information about experimental design, field or laboratory procedures, materials, biological materials, analytical methods, statistical methods, and other relevant procedures to permit appropriate scientific evaluation and, where reasonably possible, reproduction of the work.
Where applicable, authors should identify relevant datasets, software, analytical tools, repositories, or other research resources.
Research Ethics
Research involving human participants, animals, genetic resources, biological materials, protected species, or other regulated research activities must comply with applicable institutional, national, and international ethical and regulatory requirements.
Where applicable, authors should provide the name of the approving authority, approval/reference number, and ethical approval or exemption statement.
Animal and Field Research
Research involving animals must comply with applicable animal-welfare requirements and institutional or regulatory approvals.
Field research should comply with applicable permissions, biodiversity regulations, access and benefit-sharing requirements, and conservation requirements where relevant.
Authorship
Authorship must accurately reflect substantial contributions to the research and manuscript. All authors must approve the final manuscript and agree to its submission and publication.
Guest, gift, and ghost authorship are not permitted.
Conflict of Interest
Authors must disclose financial, institutional, personal, professional, or other relationships that could reasonably influence the research or its interpretation.
If no relevant conflict exists, authors may state: The authors declare that they have no conflict of interest.
Funding
All sources of financial support must be disclosed. Where applicable, authors should state the role of the funding organization in study design, data collection, analysis, manuscript preparation, and the decision to submit.
Data Availability
Authors should provide a Data Availability Statement where applicable.
Supporting data may be made publicly available, deposited in a recognized repository, made available upon reasonable request, or restricted because of legitimate ethical, legal, confidentiality, commercial, or other limitations.
Plagiarism and Research Integrity
All submissions may be screened for plagiarism, inappropriate text reuse, duplicate publication, fabrication, falsification, inappropriate image manipulation, and other forms of research misconduct.
The journal does not use an automatic fixed similarity-percentage threshold to determine plagiarism. Editorial assessment considers the nature, extent, location, and context of identified similarities.
Reporting Guidelines
Authors should follow appropriate reporting standards according to the study design. Where applicable, authors may consult relevant EQUATOR Network or other recognized reporting guidelines.
Artificial Intelligence
Authors remain responsible for the accuracy, originality, integrity, references, interpretation, and ethical compliance of their manuscripts.
AI tools must not be listed as authors and must not be used to fabricate or falsify data, results, references, citations, images, or other scholarly content.
Where substantial AI assistance has been used in manuscript preparation, authors should disclose the tool and its general purpose.
References
References should be accurate, complete, and consistently presented. The journal recommends a numbered citation style. Authors may use any clear, consistent, and standard academic reference style for initial submission.
A specific journal-formatted reference style is not required at initial submission.
Peer Review
The journal uses a single-anonymous (single-blind) peer-review process. Manuscripts selected for external peer review are normally evaluated by at least two independent reviewers with appropriate subject expertise.
Reviewer recommendations are advisory. The final editorial decision is made by the Editor-in-Chief or by an Associate Editor or other formally designated editor acting under authority delegated by the Editor-in-Chief.
Copyright and Open Access
All published articles are freely available online under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license.

Proofs
Authors should carefully check the final proof for author names, affiliations, text, tables, figures, references, and other publication information and return essential corrections within the period specified by the editorial office.
Corrections and Retractions
The journal may publish corrections, expressions of concern, or retractions when significant errors, ethical concerns, plagiarism, duplicate publication, or research misconduct affect the integrity of the published record.
